Does Christopher Columbus Deserve a National Holiday Debater Resources

This is a hot topic debate that is still around today and some of the sources I've provided you with are heavily partisan. That is to say, they are SUPER BIASED towards conservative or liberal ideology. Some of the sources are very solid, reputable, and useful--others are largely inaccurate opinion. I leave it to you to decide which is which.

I encourage you to familiarize yourself not just with the information that supports your side but with your opponent's arguments as well. You'll be better prepared to make counter-arguments if you know what you're up against.

One last thing--I've already been over all of these links and checked them for school-appropriateness but if you leave the sites and go wandering off into the Internet, you're on your own.
